Cat Island Hike

Join Atchafalaya Basinkeeper's Executive Director and Basinkeeper, Dean Wilson, for a guided hike through Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge to see the 1,500-year-old Champion Bald Cypress, the largest bald cypress specimen in the United States.

We will meet at the entrance of Cat Island National Wildlife Refuge for a three-hour hike (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) with a self-pay lunch at Magnolia Cafe following the hike.
